Default What kind of packaging do luxury handbags come

in? If you have ordered a handbag online or from a catalog that was $300 or more, what kind of packaging did it come in? What were the different layers of packaging? Please be as detailed as possible. Links to pictures would be great.
Also, how did that packaging make you feel about the product?

Thanks a lot!

It depends on the maker.

It should have lots of paper and a card that says that it's a vintage or an original. Where did you get it?

Haven't ordered a luxury handbag lately, but I've gotten jewelry and winter boots from Kohls. They wrap their merchandise with care.

The boots came in this huge box with tissue paper and the big, expensive bubble wrap. When I finally got to the shoe box, that was inside a big plastic bag. The jewelry was in layers too: two little sandwich bags for the pendant and the chain, which were inside the felt jewelry bag, which was inside another sandwich bag, which was inside a box and a big plastic bag.

I would imagine that if I ordered a purse from them as well, they would put it in a cloth bag and wrap it in layers as well.

I purchased an Hermes years ago and the bag was placed in an Hermes Bag wrapped in their signature ribbon. Inside the Hermes box, they wrote a little thank you card for the purchase along with a copy of my receipt. The Hermes box was wrapped with plain wrapping paper for protection and it was shipped via UPS.

Default they are all different

Depending on the manufacturer. Cheap bags come in plastic, designer bags come in tissue sometimes. Dust bags. Some come with Tags, some don't. It also depends where you buy them.
