Robin Williams, hands down. His pure and unadulterated energy and willingness to go ANYWHERE for a joke or a laughmakes him, in my opinion, the funniest man alive. The wide-ranging subject matter of all his material, and his ability in stand-up to switch seamlessly from the most obscene and vulgar ideas to the most sublime and clever, sometimes within the same sentence, is a talent which I have seen no-one else master. man who can do ten minutes on a very graphic rendition of the eefects of Viagara and also improvise iambic pentameter deserves to be in a Hall of Fame somewhere.
