it depends on where in vegas you want to stay. on the strip is going to be more expensive. check out the actul websites for the hotels. they always have some type of discounts going on. it usually cheaper than booking through expedia or travelocity or something like that

MGM is good! Its fairly cheap if you find discount codes on an internet search engine!

The Tropicana and The Excalibur are on the south end of the strip which I think is the nicer end and they both have pretty good rates uaually. It is close to New York New York and the MGM. Check online as well as giving them a call, you may get an even better rate.

If you want on the strip, try mid-week. Most rooms are under $100 depending on what is going on during that week as far as conventions and what not. Off of the strip, try the Orleans, Green Valley Ranch, Sunset Station, they are all in close proximity to the strip. The valley isnt that big, so no matter where you stay off the strip, its a short drive. I worked at the Mirage so I am biased to the MGM properties. Circus Circus is cheap, but old. Imperial Palace is old and wreaks of stale cigarrettes and so does The Tropicana. If you have no preference, try Hotwire and take a gamble. lol its Vegas isnt it? Hotels.com is another good source to try and you can atleast see what you are getting first. Also check the websites of several of them and there is a calendar for each month with their daily rates all at once so you will know what you are to expect. Good luck!

It depends on what area in vegas you want to stay in but I'd recommend Sunset station its a nice hotel and depending on what side of it you're one you can get some pretty nice views from the windows.

I would recoment the Stratosphere. I have stayed there twice now and have been very happy with it. It is at the Northern most part of the strip. Walking is good for you with all the buffets in Vegas.
